The True Meaning of Christmas...

in 30 minutes or less! Katlynn sang in a school program that retold the story of Baby Jesus last night. The kids did so well-they had memorized several carols and narrator parts. I had to blink back tears many times during the evening, and was so proud of my granddaughter on the stage, ministering to all of us.

  • Pre-k and kindergarten classes at St. John's School. Katlynn is on the 3rd row from the front, 3rd from left.
  • PaPa George and Katlynn after the program, back in her classroom.
  • Katlynn's Christmas tree artwork.

A pic of my oldest son, Dave (front row, center), singing at the same school, in the same sanctuary, at Christmas 23 years ago! I remember boo-hooing my way through that program, too. Some things will never change. =)

These are the really fun events of christmas time! Now, John III attended St. John's Episcopal in Abilene, too. Katelyn looks so cute in her outfit, you could just pluck her up and put her in a Christmas movie!
