A Little Follow-Up

Having been sick myself, and the grandkids busy and out of town, I hadn't seen them for awhile. I am so amazed every time we get together with how much they know and what they can do. Carson immediately knew that the little people go in the van. Katlynn watched him a minute, then brought out the dollhouse that goes with the set. Carson starting putting people in the rooms, and obviously knew what he was doing, so Katlynn turned on the princess computer and started playing games. I'm talking letter and number games, and she's only in preschool!

Antigone has to get the credit for this; I have seen how she lets the kids experiment and figure things out on their own. When my kids were growing up, I worked full-time and was (still am) a neatnik, and didn't invest as much sit-down time with my boys as Antigone does with her two, even though I loved them. But Annie has shown me that now is what's important, and that the picking up and cleaning can wait-it will still be there to be done. Antigone, you do a great job, and Katlynn and Carson are very fortunate that you are their mom. =)

Oh wow! Thank you so much for the complements. They are both such blessings to me and have taught me so much. I try daily to be the best person I can be for them. I want to be there for them anytime they need me. They are a true gift from God.

I am so happy to share them with you guys too. Ya'll both are great grandparents.

Well I am biased but I think you did great with your boys! Mine even came to me with lid down training already installed, hehe. Love it!

Thanks, Julie! That is probably the one thing I taught them. =) The rest is just because they are good people, I think. You make me laugh-it starts the day out right.
